Je suis Sarah

Sagittaire ascendant Lion, je suis une voyageuse (et un peu rêveuse) dans l'âme. Je suis née en France mais j’ai déjà vécu plusieurs vies entre Hong Kong, Cincinnati, Montréal et Tokyo. Depuis peu, et après une vie tokyoïte, j'apprends à aimer la nature et son calme, plus que la ville et son agitation. Je me suis mariée à l’amour de ma vie en Laponie Finlandaise. Sensible à la cause animale, je rêve secrètement d'ouvrir un refuge pour chiens. Je suis naturellement discrète et introvertie mais sélectivement extravertie. Je suis aussi hypersensible, ce qui me permet de saisir la moindre émotion et de la retranscrire dans mes photos.

Passions

Je suis animée par la romance, la photographie et les voyages d'aventures. Je suis une lectrice d’humeur, je choisis mes livres comme on choisit un café, selon le moment, l’émotion, la saison. Le café, justement, c’est mon rituel préféré : une tasse entre les mains, un silence autour, et le monde semble un peu plus doux. J’ai une âme d’exploratrice, attirée par les grands espaces et les lumières froides. Le Canada, la Laponie, l’Islande...ces contrées où le froid apaise et où le ciel paraît plus grand m’appellent. Et puis, il y a mon chien, qui me rappelle de profiter de l’instant présent. Plus que tout j'aime romantiser ma vie, chercher l'esthétique dans ce qui m'entoure, et cela passe aussi par la photographie.

Photographie

Saisir les moindres détails, jouer avec la lumière, expérimenter et garder des souvenirs. La photographie m'a toujours attirée et m'a rendue curieuse. La photographie de voyages et de rue m'a permit de m'exprimer, les portraits de me rapprocher des gens. Les mots clés qui définissent mon style : spontanéité, naturel et cinématographique. Je suis en constant apprentissage.

Hi, I am Sarah

Sagittarius with a Leo rising, I’m a traveler at heart (and a bit of a dreamer, too). I was born in France, but I’ve lived many lives across Hong Kong, Cincinnati, Montreal, and Tokyo. After years of city life in Tokyo, I’m slowly learning to love nature and its calm more than the constant rush of urban life. I married the love of my life in Finnish Lapland, under skies that felt infinite. Deeply sensitive to animal welfare, I secretly dream of opening a dog rescue shelter one day. I’m naturally quiet and introverted, though I can be selectively outgoing when it feels right. And being highly sensitive helps me capture even the smallest emotions, the kind that often find their way into my photographs.

Hobbies

I’m driven by romance, photography, and adventure travel. I’m a mood reader, I choose my books the way I choose my coffee: depending on the moment, the feeling, the season. And coffee itself is my favorite ritual: a cup in my hands, silence around me, and suddenly the world feels a little softer. I have the soul of an explorer, drawn to wide open spaces and northern lights. Canada, Lapland, Iceland…those cold lands where the air feels pure and the sky stretches endlessly keep calling me. And then there’s my dog, the one who reminds me to stay present and enjoy the moment. Above all, I love to romanticize my life, to find beauty in everything around me, and photography is one of the ways I capture it.

Photography

Capturing the smallest details, playing with light, experimenting and keeping memories. Photography has always attracted me and made me curious. Travel and street photography allowed me to express myself, portraits allowed me to get closer to people. The key words that define my style: spontaneity, naturalness and cinematography. I am constantly learning.
